In honor of World Voice Day, Dr. Joseph Spiegel, co-director of the Jefferson Voice and Swallowing Center talks with KYW Newsradio about some common ways to protect your voice.
Dr. Spiegel suggests using an indoor voice when possible and resting your voice if you notice that it is getting hoarse or feeing strained.
If your voice sounds groggy in the morning, Dr. Spiegel recommends drinking more water and eating earlier in the evening to avoid dehydration and acid reflux.
