More than 73,000 new cases of bladder cancer were diagnosed in 2012, according to an American Cancer Society Estimate. That makes it one of the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the U.S. each year.

Join Dr. Jean Hoffman-Censits of the Department of Medical Oncology, Solid Tumor Division, and the Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson Team for this important event to raise awareness of the disease.

This year’s bladder cancer walk will begin on Jefferson’s Center City Campus.

Meet at:

Kimmel Cancer Center’s Bluemle Life Sciences Building
233 South 10th Street
Philadelphia, PA 19107

Then walk with Team Jefferson to Independence Hall, where we will have a tent and table with refreshments and an opportunity to engage the public in bladder cancer awareness and treatment options at Jefferson.

If you can’t make it to the walk? Please consider donating to our team. All proceeds will benefit the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, host of the annual Bladder Think Tank – the only national scientific meeting focusing solely on bladder cancer.
